Chat on WeChat
Link your WeChat account and talk to your agent right inside WeChat, the same way you’d message a friend. Replies, task results, and scheduled notifications arrive as WeChat messages — and the web app and WeChat share one continuous conversation, so whatever you say on one side, the other side remembers.
Linking your WeChat
Section titled “Linking your WeChat”- Sign in to the web app. Linking a channel requires an account.
- Open the account menu in the top-right corner and choose Channels.
- On the WeChat card, click Connect.
- A QR code appears. Scan it with your own WeChat.
- Confirm inside WeChat. The page switches from “Waiting for confirmation…” to a Connected badge on its own — no refresh needed.
- Send the agent a message in WeChat (a simple “hi” works). When the reply arrives, you’re all set.
Your link is private: your WeChat connects to your agent only, and your messages are never mixed with anyone else’s.
What to expect
Section titled “What to expect”- Response time. Replies usually arrive within seconds to under a minute. Long-running tasks confirm first, then push the result when it’s done.
- What you can send. Text and images work; incoming video and files are supported too.
- Proactive notifications. Scheduled tasks and long jobs message you when they finish — you don’t have to ask.
- One conversation. Everything you discuss on WeChat shows up in the web app, and vice versa.
Unlinking
Section titled “Unlinking”Account menu → Channels → click Disconnect on the WeChat card and confirm. WeChat messaging stops; the web app is unaffected. To relink, just scan a fresh QR code.
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”The QR code doesn’t work or expired. Close it and click Connect again — each click generates a fresh code, and old ones expire.
No reply to my message. Give it a minute first. If it stays silent, send a message in the web app to confirm your account is healthy; if the web app responds but WeChat doesn’t, disconnect and relink, or contact support.
Can I link someone else’s WeChat? No. The QR code is generated by your account, and scanning it authorizes that WeChat for your account — only scan with your own WeChat.
I switched to a new WeChat account. Disconnect on the Channels page, then scan a new QR code with the new account.
